Hey all of you local St. Louisans!  Two of my favorite things are coming together during the month of August:  photography and coffee.  A few of my pieces will be on display for sale at Hartford Coffee, 3974 Hartford Street, just south of Tower Grove Park. Check out their website here. Stop in for a Chai Freeze (my personal favorite) and take a peek.  I'll be revealing a couple of the featured pieces on the blog over the next coming weeks, so stay tuned.....

Sneak peak #1:  Orange brick- love the color and texture of this wall...

The Casas family took a quick break from the campaign to meet me at Tower Grove Park for a family photo shoot. As soon as little Miss Sophie popped out of the car there was no shortage of hugs, kiss blowing or exploration.  She was such a natural we joked that her parents should consider enrolling her in toddler modeling!

It was 93 degrees that morning but Martin, Katie and Sophie were troopers.  After a short rest under a shade tree we were off to play in the children's fountain.  We took hundreds of shots that day, but here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Post #1: There's no place like home OR Favorite Farm Family Photos

And so it begins, the inaugural post.  Who better to feature than some good lookin' kids with whom you share a few genes?  The crazy bunch below are my cousins.  It's hard to believe the oldest two are now in college, Ryan is on the high school varsity football team (Go Piggy!) and Lauryn is taller than I am.  Where does the time go? (Read: when did I get so old?)

The shoot took place at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL.  The natural light was beautiful and with so many large tractors, there was no shortage of fun photo opportunities.  (The photograph directly below was taken in a large tractor scoop.) This clan was so much fun to photograph; I can't wait to catch up with them all again soon!  Enjoy!
